JOB SUMMARY: The Tax Compliance Analyst III is responsible for preparing and filing accurate sales and use tax returns while ensuring compliance with state and local tax regulations. This role supports general ledger tax accounts, handles tax-related inquiries, conducts research on tax issues, and collaborates with internal teams to improve processes and maintain compliance. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and file accurate and timely sales and use tax returns Prepare monthly sales/use tax journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting working papers Assist in determining nexus and identifying filing requirements across US state and local jurisdictions Register for tax compliance in applicable jurisdictions Respond to state and local tax notices and inquiries Conduct research on various tax issues Collaborate with corporate and divisional teams across departments Continuously improve processes and productivity Support special compliance and audit projects as assigned Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum 5 years of tax compliance experience Experience with SAP or equivalent financial software Experience with Taxware or other tax compliance software Strong proficiency in MS Office applications Strong analytical and communication skills Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask Familiarity with general accounting concepts, practices, and procedures Education: Bachelors Degree
