Tax Compliance Analyst

• Preparation of accurate and timely sales and use tax returns
• Prepare monthly sales/use tax journal entry, reconciliations and working papers to support the General Ledger tax account balances
• Assist in determining nexus, identifying filing requirements, and registering to ensure tax compliance in all state and local jurisdictions in the US
• Respond to state and local tax notices and inquires
• Research various tax issues
• Work closely with various corporate and divisional groups and various departments through the company
• Continuously improve process and productivity
• Special compliance and audit projects as assigned.

• Business Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Minimum 5 years' previous tax compliance experience
• SAP experience or equivalent financial software required
• Taxware experience or other tax compliance software required
• Strong PC skills including proficiency with MS Office applications
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Must have a sense of urgency and work independently
• Must possess strong organizational skills with attention to details while be capable of multi-tasking
• Should be familiar with general accounting concepts, practices and procedures
