Our Client: We are working with a 50-year old, global distribution company with over 300 locations in the U.S. generating close to $10B in annual revenue.
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Position: Sales and Use Tax Analyst
Compensation and Benefits:

Work Schedule: Hybrid with 3-days in the office; 2 day work from home
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely and accurate filling of Sales and Use tax returns for multiple states.
- Coordinate with operational leadership within branch locations on changes impacting sales and use tax rates, taxable transactions, and other items.
- Prepare registrations with taxing authorities for new sales and use filings, as needed.
- Data reconciliation, developing workpapers, processing S&U tax credits
- Assisting with Vertex system updates and tax research projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related business major (Required)
- 2 to 4-years of related accounting or tax compliance experience
- Strong computer skills with MS Office Suite – Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint.
- Detail oriented, problem-solver, who is able to meet reporting deadlines.
- Experience working with any of these systems is a plus, but not a requirement Vertex, OneSource, Sovos, or Avalara sales and use tax management software products.
