About the Opportunity
CFS has partnered with a global manufacturing organization in seeking a Temporary Tax Accountant to support their corporate tax team during a busy reporting cycle. This role is ideal for someone with solid tax experience who is comfortable jumping into a fast‑paced environment and contributing immediately.
Key Responsibilities of the Tax Accountant
- Assist with federal, state, and local tax compliance, including preparation and review of tax filings
- Support quarterly and annual tax provision processes
- Help compile documentation for audits and regulatory inquiries
- Perform tax research, analysis, and data reconciliation
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather necessary tax information
- Assist with process improvements and special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of corporate tax, public accounting, or relevant experience
- Experience with tax software and ERP systems preferred
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Excel
