Swallow Wines is a licensed Texas winery with a tasting room in downtown Round Rock. We work directly with small-batch California winemakers and bring their wines to our tasting room. We don’t go through distributors or brokers. Every wine you pour and sell here is something we’ve personally selected and stand behind.
We just hit our two-year mark and are still growing. We’re looking for a Tasting Room Manager to help lead the next phase, especially building our Cellar Club and continuing to grow our community.
This is a hands-on role. You are the host, the guide, and the standard.

What you’ll do:
- Lead daily tasting room operations.
- Curate tasting experiences and featured wines.
- Host tastings for 1 to 12 guests.
- Build relationships with members and repeat guests.
- Promote and grow the Cellar Club through genuine conversation.
This is not a bar job. We are not looking for bartenders. If your background is mostly service or bartending, this likely isn’t the right fit. This role is for someone who enjoys wine, storytelling, and connecting people to what’s in the glass.
Additional responsibilities:
- Train and support part-time team members.
- Promote events and monthly wine features.
- Manage reservations and POS.
- Maintain a clean, polished space.
- Oversee opening and closing.
- Recommend wines and guide purchases through conversation.

- You’re comfortable leading a room without forcing it.
- You pay attention to details and consistency.
- You can sell in a way that feels natural.
- You want to help grow something local and be part of it.
Comp: $18–20/hour.
