Job Summary:
The Server Assistant provides excellent food and beverage service during on-site engagements, ensuring to deliver a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Support servers by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately
- Ensure that tables are clean, organized, and properly set for service
- Ensure service stations are stocked, organized and ready throughout the shift
- Communicate closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth, timely service
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines during food handling and service
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and dietary restrictions to assist guests
- Follow all food safety, sanitation and all cleanliness standards
- Assist with clearing tables and resetting dining areas between services
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Fine dining experience highly desired
- Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices
- Professional appearance and demeanor with a focus on hospitality
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and take direction from supervisors
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or food items (with or without accommodations)
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and hours depending on the audit schedule
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in service or dining setup
