Job Summary:


The Server Assistant provides excellent food and beverage service during on-site engagements, ensuring to deliver a memorable dining experience.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Support servers by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately
  • Ensure that tables are clean, organized, and properly set for service
  • Ensure service stations are stocked, organized and ready throughout the shift
  • Communicate closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth, timely service
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines during food handling and service
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and dietary restrictions to assist guests
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation and all cleanliness standards
  • Assist with clearing tables and resetting dining areas between services

Qualifications:


  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Fine dining experience highly desired
  • Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices
  • Professional appearance and demeanor with a focus on hospitality
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and take direction from supervisors
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or food items (with or without accommodations)
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and hours depending on the audit schedule
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes in service or dining setup
