System One is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter in Pasadena, TX to support project hiring by sourcing / screening candidates, coordinating interviews and offers, managing requisitions, updating job descriptions, tracking staffing data, and handling key compliance steps (I?9/E?Verify, background/drug screens, paperwork). The position targets early?career profiles (HS diploma + 1–3 years in customer service/admin/HR support; strong MS Office, communication, and compliance awareness), requires demonstrated job stability, and prefers a degree, bilingual Spanish/English, and HR certifications (PHR/SHRM?CP). Important Details:
6-month contract with possibility of conversion to a permanent position
Pay rate: Up to $26/hr. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Start date: As soon as possible
Work schedule: Monday through Friday, standard business hours
Work location: Onsite at our client's office in Pasadena, TX 77503
Weekly pay

Job offer will be contingent on drug screen and background check
Position Responsibilities:
Sources, screens, and performs preliminary interviews on potential candidates.
Coordinates site interviews with appropriate hiring manager to select qualified candidates for project specific requirements and make contingent employment offers based on federal/state law.
Manages assigned employment requisitions to include but not limited to reviewing, editing, and final approval of completed requisition.
Tracks and reports data on staffing plan processes using computer software programs that may include MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and other software databases.
Builds and updates job descriptions based on project and scope of work
Coordinates and conducts re-deployment initiatives (proactive communication with employees prior to anticipated end date)
Conducts operational and administrative portions of the hire process (background checks, drug screen, health screen, I9 compliance, E-Verify compliance, employment paperwork, site specific requirements)
Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
Demonstrated job stability required; a pattern of frequent job changes (multiple roles under 12 months) without clear progression, contract designation, or valid explanation will be disqualified
High school diploma
1–3 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, HR support, or related field
Prior recruiting experience is not required, but exposure to hiring, staffing, or HR processes is a plus
Technical skill with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to quickly learn Tracking Management System.
Excellent people skills including collaboration, communication, presentation, and team building skills
High level of customer service.
Knowledge of employment laws/compliance.
Attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Bilingual – Fluent in Spanish and English is a plus
PHR or SHRM-CP
Experience in: Administration, Customer Service, Human Resources, Industrial Construction and/or Nuclear Industries
Physical Requirements:
Work will be in a general office environment with occasional work in an industrial location.
Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting.
May be required to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50lbs.
