Type: Contract to hire
Hours: Monday - Thursday 9 hours / Friday 4 hours (Some Flexibility and Hybrid possibility after initial training)
Summary:
This role supports our client's Workforce Planning team in focusesing on full-cycle recruiting for engineering and project-based roles across process, chemical, and power environments.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience recruiting for technical/engineering positions in industrial settings and be comfortable managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. Strong coordination skills, compliance awareness, and the ability to partner closely with hiring managers are key.
Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and conduct initial interviews for candidates.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and support candidate selection.
- Manage assigned requisitions end-to-end, including review, edits, and approvals.
- Build and update job descriptions based on project scope and needs.
- Track and report recruiting activity using internal systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Support onboarding processes (background checks, drug screens, I-9, E-Verify, employment documentation)
- Lead redeployment efforts for existing workforce nearing project completion.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
- Deliver a high level of customer service to internal stakeholders and candidates.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of engineering recruiting experience.
- Direct experience recruiting for engineering or technical roles required.
- Experience supporting industrial environments such as process, chemical, power, or similar.
- Excellent people skills including collaboration, communication, presentation, and team building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of employment laws/compliance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
- Bilingual - Fluent in Spanish and English is a plus.
- PHR or SHRM-CP.
