The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for both internal and external candidates while continuously improving recruiting strategies, tools, and outcomes. This role partners closely with hiring managers to attract, assess, and hire top talent, while also driving process improvements through automation, standardization, and data-driven insights. The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a key role in enhancing the candidate and hiring manager experience, strengthening employer branding, and ensuring alignment with organizational workforce planning goals.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Delivery
Manage full-cycle recruiting for internal and external candidates, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
Generate and extend offers, ensuring accuracy and timely processing within internal HRIS or ATS systems
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
Coordinate and communicate internal hiring activities, including promotions, transfers, and new hire announcements
Recruiting Strategy, Process & Optimization
Develop and enhance job descriptions to accurately reflect role requirements and attract qualified candidates
Implement and improve recruiting processes through automation, system optimization, and best practices
Support the development and maintenance of standardized wage structures and compensation alignment
Create, standardize, and deliver interview guides, tools, and training for hiring managers
Establish consistent and equitable interviewing practices across the organization
Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and internal policies throughout the hiring process
Talent Insights, Branding & Partnerships
Track, analyze, and report on recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, candidate pipeline, source effectiveness)
Own and manage recruiting platforms, including LinkedIn, Indeed, and other sourcing tools
Partner with internal stakeholders to prepare employees for interviews and internal career opportunities
Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, and workforce development partners
Support employer branding initiatives to enhance the organization’s reputation as an employer of choice
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret recruiting metrics and drive data-informed decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels
Familiarity with employment laws and compliance requirements related to recruiting and hiring
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a continuous improvement approach
