CTG is seeking to fill a Talend Framework Developer position for our client.

 

Location: Atlanta, GA / Charlotte, NC / Raleigh, NC
Duration: 12 months

 

Duties:

  • Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT data integration solutions
  • Define, build, and maintain data ingestion frameworks (batch, real-time, CDC)
  • Develop and manage data transformation and distribution frameworks
  • Create reusable components, templates, and development standards
  • Conduct design reviews and optimize job performance and scalability
  • Implement best practices for error handling, logging, and monitoring
  • Develop job parallelization strategies and support mainframe data integration
  • Perform memory tuning and implement context-driven parameterization
  • Handle large-scale datasets, complex file processing, and API integrations
  • Integrate Talend solutions with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Work with modern data ecosystems including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, APIs, Kafka, and Snowflake
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and support automated deployments

Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Talend development (Talend Data Integration / Talend Cloud)
  • Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
  • Advanced SQL skills with a focus on performance tuning and optimization
  • Experience with cloud-based data services across AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Familiarity with distributed data processing and streaming frameworks (e.g., Kafka)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in Talend development and data integration frameworks
  • Proven experience designing enterprise-grade ETL/ELT frameworks
  • Experience working with large-scale data environments and complex integrations
  • Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms and modern data architectures
  • Experience with performance tuning, job optimization, and scalable design patterns

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
