Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Quality/Test Engineer 2. The work will be done onsite in Tucson, AZ. This is a long-term position (24 months) that can lead to permanent employment with our client. Compensation is up to $40/hr + full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay).
Job Summary
Cullerton Group is seeking a Systems Validation Engineer (Quality/Test Engineer 2) to support product validation and continuous improvement efforts for advanced technology systems used in industrial applications. This role focuses on evaluating product performance, investigating defects, and supporting troubleshooting efforts to enhance overall system reliability and customer satisfaction. The engineer will work closely with global teams and external customers to analyze technical issues, validate system configurations, and drive improvements. This position offers a blend of technical problem-solving, project coordination, and customer-facing support in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Support continuous product improvement initiatives by evaluating product performance and identifying areas for enhancement
• Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues, including software and hardware configurations
• Perform product validation activities and analyze defects in production systems
• Collaborate with global teams and external customers to provide technical support and system recommendations
• Coordinate projects related to system audits, performance improvements, and customer solutions
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field (Associate’s degree with additional experience considered)
• 3–5 years of experience in product support, validation, or engineering within an industrial or production environment
• Experience with product validation, continuous improvement (CPI), or new product introduction (NPI) processes
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical systems
• Experience with data gathering, analysis, and interpretation
Preferred Qualifications
• Project management experience supporting technical or engineering initiatives
• Experience working in customer-facing or field support roles
• Familiarity with industrial systems, mining technologies, or production environments
• Experience working with global teams and external stakeholders
• Strong communication, relationship management, and customer service skills
