Systems Engineer

A leading Global Biotech Company is seeking a hands-on engineer who has experience with electro-mechanical devices. The role is onsite in Oro Valley, AZ.

Responsibilities:

• Apply intensive and diversified knowledge of design principles, practices and implementation in complex systems and assignments.
• General responsibilities include design concept generation, participating in design reviews, development and testing to assess performance against design specification; reliability testing, and assessment of system interactions; assistance in development of manufacturing processes and troubleshooting issues to determine root cause and possible engineering solutions. Candidates should be able to perform each of the responsibilities satisfactorily to do this job successfully.
• Learn to use company concepts, policies and procedures, become familiar with and follow standard practices.
• Work on projects of moderate scope in which analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors.
• Assist in reducing to practice patentable inventions.
• Monitor work to ensure quality, and continuously promote Quality First Time.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 4+ years of experience.
• Technical proficiency, engineering creativity, ability to collaborate effectively with others, and strong independent thinking.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and concepts.
