Overview
Systems Engineer - Senior (ILO-2025-23793):
Bowhead is seeking to network with a highly skilled Sr Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and a passion for systems engineering. This role is critical in ensuring the successful design, integration, and evaluation of complex Naval Surface Warfare systems.

Responsibilities
Job duties will include but are not limited to:
- Lead systems requirements management and systems engineering design activities.
- Utilize systems engineering software tools to support design and integration efforts.
- Conduct integration engineering tasks and oversee test and evaluation engineering activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline OR
Eight (8) years of professional technical experience, including at least five (5) years of specialized experience in systems engineering performing systems requirements management, systems engineering design, utilizing systems engineering software tools, integration engineering, test and evaluation engineering activities.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold an active Secret security clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
