Systems Engineer I (level)
This role is responsible for supporting and integrating the systems that drive secure, efficient logistics and operational processes for high-security solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills, practical problem-solving ability, and thrives in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain supply chain systems, including ERP, WMS, and TMS platforms.
Manage system integrations to ensure secure, accurate data flow across logistics, procurement, and production.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system-related issues affecting supply chain operations.
Collaborate with IT, operations, and logistics teams to align technology solutions with product requirements.
Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices for biometric data and system integrity.
Create, capture, and deploy operating system images using Microsoft SCCM for endpoint provisioning.
Troubleshoot SCCM issues, including PXE boot failures, driver integration, and deployment errors.
Maintain documentation for system architecture, processes, and configurations to support audits and compliance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
1–2 years of experience in systems engineering or IT infrastructure.
Proficiency with Microsoft SCCM for OS deployment and imaging.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
Exposure to secure environments and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO, SOC).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator).
Experience with ERP, WMS, or TMS systems.
Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) and SQL.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Compensation: $40.00–$50.00 per hour, depending on experience. Contract-to-hire arrangement already in place.
