The New York State Bar Association, a non-profit, professional membership organization, is seeking a full-time System Support Engineer for its Albany, NY office.
The System Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to NYSBA end users who work both remotely and on-site. In addition, the System Support Engineer applies basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions.
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience is required. In addition, the successful candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in installation, configuring and managing Virtualized Environments, Networking, PC hardware, Desktop imaging, Microsoft Active Directory, Terminal/RDS, Cloud O365/M365 and VoIP. Additional duties also include Audio/Video support. Provide setup, operation, and troubleshooting of audio/video equipment for meetings, conferences, webinars, and hybrid events. A demonstrated understanding of the Microsoft suite Office applications, and proficiency in Active Directory, Okta, and MFA are also required.
