Employment Eligibility Statement

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, workstations, network equipment, and software systems to ensure their optimal performance. Your duties will include resolving hardware and software issues, providing technical support to end-users, and managing user accounts and permissions. You will also maintain accurate documentation of IT procedures and system configurations while ensuring compliance with company policies and IT security best practices. Additionally, you will collaborate with senior administrators on system upgrades and projects and engage in ongoing learning about new technologies. Responsibilities will also include supporting our Data Management Specialist with inbound and outbound EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) processes, as well as providing telephone training, user registration, and support for our company’s primary external-facing Line of Business application.

JOB DUTIES - IT Responsibilities

  • 35% Provides technical support to end-users, including diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems.
  • 15% Assists with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, workstations, and network equipment.
  • 10% Retrieves and distributes EDI data files from health plan websites and FTP servers and submits outbound electronic medical claims to health plans and clearinghouses
  • 10% Provides website user support for the company’s primary external-facing Line of Business application..
  • 10% Works with senior System Administrators on system upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
  • 10% Assists with the onboarding and offboarding of new employees.
  • 5% Participate in regular and temporary teams as assigned by the Director of Information Technology.
  • 5% Performs other duties as assigned, including cross-training and providing coverage within the IT Department.

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS – Minimum qualifications/requirements necessary to adequately perform this position.

  • Basic understanding of Windows desktop and server operating systems, as well as fundamental networking principles.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other essential IT services.
  • Knowledge of VMware ESXi.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Positive attitude and ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Previous experience in IT support.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

The rate/ Salary range is dependent on numerous factors including Qualification, Experience and Location.
