Systems Administrator | Permanent | Requires 3 days in office per week | No Sponsorship Available
CFS has partnered with a longstanding client that is in the professional services space here in Madison that is looking to grow their IT team by adding a system administrator to the group. - Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 in base salary
- PTO: 18 days first year, and 10 holidays
- Retirement: 401(k) plan w/ a match. 50% match on the first 6% contribution. Vested immediately.
- Medical: Several plans available via Dean and Quartz for individuals and families.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE TITLE
- Overseen and configure Windows Server environment on both physical and virtual servers
- Automate deployments and server management using tools like PowerShell, WSUS, and MDT
- Train and mentor staff mentors
- Establish information system policies, standards, practices and security measures
- Serve as central point of contact for system users to address questions and report problems
- Manage the telephone system
- Diagnose and resolve network and computer problems
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE FOR THE TITLE
- 5+ years of relevant systems administration experience.
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Windows desktop
- 2+ years of experience with Windows desktop imaging and management systems.
- Scripting w/ Powershell and/or Bash
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field.
