The Space and Intelligence (S&I) Division provides engineering services and analytic support to the Air Force, Space Force, Combatant Commands, the Intelligence Community, and NASA. Travel is not anticipated but would occur less than five percent of the time on an occasional and irregular basis and be limited to domestic locations only. Responsibilities We are seeking multiple candidates to fill the following positions at the Mid-Level (Journeyman): Acquisition Specialists located in the El Segundo, CA, the Colorado Springs, CO areas Acquisition Support Specialists located in the El Segundo, CA and the Colorado Springs, CO areas Product Support Specialists located in the El Segundo, CA, the Colorado Springs, CO, and the Palm Bay, FL areas The Acquisition and Support Specialists shall have: Extensive experience in contracting, legal, policy, and budget reviews, contracting, finance and compliance in the government (military and/or civil servant), federally funded research and development center, or profit/non-profit government support/development Contractor arena. Experience with program management for ACAT-like weapon systems, in particular managing the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of funds. Deep knowledge in the fields of Space Force financial management. Prior program management or finance experience. Experience with building acquisition strategies and programmatic documentation. Expertise in small, agile acquisitions with insight into lessons learned from large acquisitions. Experience working with contractual efforts designed to address fulfilling near-term requirements. History of working with space and/or software related acquisitions. Understanding of acquisition processes and how to apply them for successful program management. Knowledge in DoD acquisition and financial systems. Knowledge in various DoD contract strategies and vehicles anding understand their applications to meet rapid acquisition timelines.
