We are currently seeking an experienced Survey Party Chief to join our surveying Department. Responsibilities:
- Represent the Company in the field to Clients and the Public in general, ensuring that work is performed to company standards and in a professional manner.
- Duties include the supervision and training of 2- and 3-man field crews.
- Lead the field effort for various types of surveys, including but not limited to boundary, topographic, route, construction, ALTA, USACOE and SFWMD control, topographic and construction surveys.
- Must have knowledge of field equipment, such as Topcon E series, Trimble C-3, Trimble GPS, Trimble HDS and other day to day survey equipment.
- Knowledge of electronic data collection required.
- Keeps clear and concise field notes.
- Must be able to travel out of town.
- Must have 1 -3 years of experience.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Night and/or weekend work may be required.
