Bus Survey Data Collector Two Positions Available 

Located in Bremerton, WA

Pay: $18.00

Ride along on different Kitsap County Bus Routes collecting ridership data to validate compliance of electronic counters.

JOB DUTIES:

May include but not limited to the following:

• Accurate Data Collection and recording
• Familiarity with routes and landmarks
• Able to accurately count amid distractions

REQUIREMENTS:

• Reliable and punctual
• Basic math skills
• Must be able to ride the bus for up to two hours at a time
• Write short words and numbers
• Able to notate landmarks from a moving vehicle
• Data Entry into app on electronic tablet or paper spreadsheet
• Ability to avoid distractions from other passengers.

Hours/Shift:
One Full time position 40 hours a week and one Part time, 20 hours per week. Must have availability Monday through Friday between 4:00am-10:00pm and Weekends 7:00am-9:00pm, shift times vary depending on assigned route; shifts could be up to 6 hours long. Schedule is put out bi-weekly.
