Surgical Technologist

As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in supporting surgical procedures in a fast-paced, specialized environment. Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within a surgical specialty, preferably in plastic reconstruction or cosmetic procedures
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong understanding of surgical instruments, procedures, and sterilization protocols
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of operating room safety standards and infection control practices
Nice to Have Skills
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
- Advanced certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Experience working in a multi-specialty surgical environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience
- Accredited Surgical Technologist program completion or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in a related surgical setting
- Prior experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery centers is highly advantageous
Other Requirements
- Availability for flexible scheduling, including potential overnight shifts in ERU
- Ability to comply with all hospital, state, and federal regulations
- Willingness to obtain necessary certifications and licenses as required
- Certification in surgical technology or related fields is preferred
