Surgical Technologist (Surgical Tech)

Type: Contract 

Job description

• Assists surgeons and the operating room team before, during, and after surgical procedures. 
• Responsible for preparing the operating room, sterilizing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available. 
• Supports patient safety by anticipating the needs of the surgical team and handling instruments during procedures. 
• Requires knowledge of surgical procedures, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ year of Surgical Technologist experience
• scrub open heart surgery
• CV experience at Level 1 Trauma facility required
