Surg Tech CVOR – Travel Job

Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist where you will function as a member of a cardiac team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during cardiac surgical procedures. You will ensure patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing and setting up specialized cardiovascular instruments, and providing intraoperative support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) as a Surgical Technologist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR/Surgical Technologist in a cardiac surgical environment.
• Demonstrated experience with cardiovascular surgical instrumentation and sterile technique specific to cardiac procedures.
• Experience working in an acute care hospital operating room setting.
• Ability to function on a night shift schedule and work required shift hours as assigned.
• Client requirement: proven competency in CVOR circulator and scrub roles in adult cardiac cases.
• Preferred: ACLS certification and prior experience with trauma or high-acuity cardiac programs.
