Job Title: Support Engineering Data Specialist 3 

Location: Ridley Park PA- Onsite

Salary Range: $50 to $60/hr on W2

Contract Duration : 12+ Months with possibility to extension

Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated professional to interpret and analyze engineering data, reliability and maintainability data, supply chain data, and customer operations and support concepts. The role involves developing support solutions and products, including support analysis, provisioning solutions, spares solutions, and maintenance, inspection, and support technical data.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
• Aircraft Mechanic or Avionics experience (military, commercial, corporate, or general)
• Technical Writing or 5 years aircraft maintenance
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Proficiency in MS Office

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

• Undergraduate degree
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant certification
• FCC General radiotelephone operator license
• Experience with SLICWAVE
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-40051, S1000D, MIL-STD 1388, GEIA-STD-0007
• Knowledge of XML
• Lean Six Sigma certification

Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)

• Provide recommendations on product supportability and establish operation maintenance tasks and support resources
• Develop support systems to achieve supportability requirements
• Identify and analyze logistics support candidates from product definition and develop logistics support analysis records and reports
• Determine spares provisioning requirements and establish recommendations for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking
• Write and maintain technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft systems and/or components
• Evaluate aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability to establish maintenance concepts
