Supply Chain Planner – Demand & Supply

Supply Chain Management and Execution
- Work with Product Managers and Sales Management in order to finalize sales forecasts, purchases from the overseas factories and domestic vendors
- Manage daily communication with the factories on purchase orders, estimated times of arrival, and changes (pull ins and push outs of purchase quantities)
- Analyze sales history for trends and seasonality as well as other inputs to develop a consensus forecast
- Ensure the proper placement of purchase orders as well as goods receipts and vendor payments
- Support other planners as they execute the PSI process for various product categories
- Support Sales Vertical team as they have questions regarding lead times and order fulfillment status
- Monitor and report on KPI’s related to customer service, on time delivery, forecast accuracy and inventory levels
- Monitor and drive any necessary corrections in Panasonic and/or channel inventory
- Utilize demand and supply planning tools as necessary in order to increase planning accuracy
- Work with Operations, Master Data, Product Management, and Logistics in order to resolve customer related issues
- Work with our domestic configuration and value add service centers / warehouses on planning and scheduling
Process Improvement Initiatives
- Explore functionality within the current planning and fulfillment systems and determine new ways to improve the function
- Help document current and future process
- Analyze processes and determine manual processes that can be automated. Develop and implement plans to automate these processes in order to improve overall process efficiency and reduce internal cost
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree required in Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, or a related field
- 3+ Years of supply chain experience required, or equivalent University coursework
- Experience working with advanced planning tools (i.e. Blue Yonder, AnaPlan, PowerBI, etc..) required
- Experience with S4 Hana is required
- Previous supply chain systems implementation experience a plus
- APICS CSCP Certification preferred
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
People Management/Conflict Resolution:
- Ability to work within a team of Supply & Demand Planners
- Ability to work with Product/Category owners to prioritize demands and allocate properly
- Ability to work with demand planners to get information on demand priorities
- Ability to work with order management team to ensure proper implementation of the allocation plan
- Ability to communicate ETA’s and constraints to Sales teams
Communications:
- Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Work with Customer Service, Sales, Product Management, Channel Management and Finance to resolve issues
- Ability to communicate with Demand Planners, Sales, Product Management, Category Owners on a regular basis
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to learn and evaluate new systems related to SCM for process and data quality improvements.
- Must be deadline oriented
- Organizational, Time Management, People Management & Presentation skills required
- Data Analytics skills required
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required in Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, or a related field
- 3 or more years of supply chain experience required, or equivalent university coursework

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA required
- Previous supply chain systems implementation experience a plus

Salary Range: $65,000 –$75,000 + Bonus
