We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team in the Scientific industry. This is a permanent position that will play a critical role in our organization, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, demand planning, warehouse management, purchase orders, cost reduction, and production planning. This role requires a highly organized professional with a knack for strategic planning and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing and managing the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery, ensuring smooth operations.
2. Developing and implementing effective demand planning strategies to meet business objectives.
3. Managing warehouse operations to ensure optimal inventory levels and efficient storage practices.
4. Processing purchase orders and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
5. Identifying and implementing cost-reduction strategies to optimize resources and increase profitability.
6. Coordinating production planning to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery of products.
7. Collaborating with various departments, including production, sales, and finance, to forecast needs and plan supply chain activities accordingly.
8. Analyzing supply chain data to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions for improvement.
9. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
10. Continually assessing supply chain performance and implementing improvements as needed.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Supply Chain Coordinator position should have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the scientific industry.
2. Proven experience in procurement, demand planning, warehouse management, handling purchase orders, cost reduction, and production planning.
3. A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams across different departments.
6. Proficiency in supply chain management software and other relevant IT systems.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve supply chain issues efficiently.
8. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. A thorough understanding of supply chain processes and best practices in the scientific industry.
10. Certification in supply chain management or related field will be an added advantage.
