The Role:
The Supply Chain Analyst plays a key role in advancing CST Industries' newly launched SIOP initiative across four U.S. manufacturing facilities. Reporting to the Director of SIOP, this role works closely with teams in Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that strengthen alignment between planning and execution. The analyst will conduct data integrity and completeness reviews to ensure accurate information across D365, CST Portal, Salesforce, Experlogix, and Launchpad. The incumbent will also develop and lead the weekly S&OE process, assessing execution gaps, identifying centers of excellence, and recommending processes, reports, and KPIs to improve performance. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency with multiple data systems, and the ability to clearly communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels.
Supply chain analyst responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of the SIOP process by organizing and analyzing data, consolidating insights, and presenting actionable findings that enhance supply chain performance.
- Conduct detailed data analysis across multiple systems and tools to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ensure data integrity and completeness across D365, CST Portal, Salesforce, Experlogix, and Launchpad to maintain accurate visibility and decision-making.
- Develop and lead the weekly S&OE process, assessing execution gaps, identifying Centers of Excellence, and recommending reports, KPIs, and process improvements to align planning with performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain efficiency through better demand forecasting, inventory management, and production planning.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate performance metrics and insights to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Travel up to 15-20% to U.S. facilities as needed.
- Role based in DeKalb, IL, with four days on-site and one remote day per week.
- Other Supply Chain duties assigned to support this new role and the organization.

- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand the impact of supply chain decision on overall business performance.
- Minimum of an Associate's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent discipline
- 3 years of recent experience as a supply chain analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably in a fast-paced, multi-site manufacturing organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to make sound business decisions.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint) to extract, manipulate, and present data to key decision-makers.
- Strong experience in Microsoft Excel: v-lookups, pivot tables, charts, queries, data analysis
- Solid understanding of supply chain management concepts, including inventory management, demand forecasting, supply analysis, sales forecasting, and master production scheduling
- Proficiency in using supply chain management systems and tools (e.g., D365 ERP, WMS) to support data analysis and decision-making.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) preferred and experience in applying them to drive process optimization.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and outliers in data analysis.
