Our Client, an EV Manufacturing company, is looking for a Supplier Reliability Engineer (Electronics Components) for their Tustin, CA location.
 
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical (or similar).
  • Over 5 years of experience within the automotive or consumer electronics industry, working within the EE domain.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of integrity.
  • Deep knowledge of electronics reliability.
  • Provide guidance on the selection of electronic components for upcoming designs to ensure they meet our vehicle mission and reliability targets.
  • Communicate Reliability requirements, targets, and test plans with electronic component vendors.
  • Coordinate root cause process with engineering teams and component suppliers.
  • Level of role depends on experience and Qualifications.
  • In addition, a strong technical background, interest in reliability and experience in the following areas:
  • Experience with electrical systems and schematics Knowledge of PCBA troubleshooting techniques
  • Physics of failure knowledge for low voltage passive and active electrical components and PCBAs
  • Familiarity with failure analysis techniques such as optical microscopy, X-ray, CT, FTIR, SEM, EDS.
