Position Overview:
Responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating and supervising operations of the Department. Supervises, orients, trains and educates personnel. Key responsibilities include coordination of sterilization and disinfection activities and processes, including process maintenance and redesign when needed, customer service, regulatory compliance, quality control monitoring, fiscal accountability, instrument and equipment management, performance improvement and safety. Oversees the provision of clean, properly packaged, sterile instruments and supplies where they are needed throughout the facility.

EDUCATION:
_Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._
+ HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
+ CRCST-Certified Registered Central Service Technician
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
+ 5 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
+ In-depth knowledge of sterilization processes.
+ Demonstrated knowledge and interpersonal skills necessary to tactfully direct the efforts of diverse health professionals to meet patient needs.
+ Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Demonstrates leadership skills, including team building, and coaching/mentoring with the ability to motivate and engage others.
+ Ability to build and establish effective working partnership with employees, peers and/or leaders to achieve business objectives.
+ Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects while delivering quality service/achieving business results.

Pay Range is $87,027.20 to $108,763.20 / annual salary
_The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
