Due to continued growth, we’re looking to add a Traveling Superintendent to the team. This individual must be open to extensive travel and night work, and have prior experience leading remodel projects in active, open-store environments as the Superintendent in charge.

We are on the hunt for a seasoned Permanent Superintendent with a solid background in remodeling. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and dedicated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to implementation, with a focus on store projects. This role requires extensive travel and the ability to adapt to night work schedules. The Permanent Superintendent will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and successful completion of our construction projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
2. Supervising on-site construction activities and managing field operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
3. Coordinating and directing all construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
4. Ensuring all construction activities comply with quality standards and regulations.
5. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and state construction and safety laws.
6. Managing and resolving any issues, delays, or problems on the construction site.
7. Ensuring all necessary permits and licenses are in place before construction activities begin.
8. Communicating effectively with architects, engineers, and owners on construction plans and progress.
9. Preparing and submitting project reports and performance metrics to stakeholders.
10. Collaborating with project managers to forecast possible project risks.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a superintendent.
2. Extensive experience in remodeling and store projects is a must.
3. Proficient in construction project management software and has a strong understanding of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
4. Excellent knowledge of construction project scheduling and the ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Ability to travel extensively and adapt to night work schedules.
7. Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to direct and supervise a team.
8. Valid certification in construction safety or related field is preferred.
