The Superintendent is responsible for the field operations including establishing the safety culture on the job site and working closely with the Project Manager to maintain the job schedule, cost and staff to achieve profitable outcomes.

Florida General Contractor focused on commercial projects ground up and renovation. Hospitality Projects including, hotels and restaurants.

Description

  • Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force
  • Maintain good relationships with internal and external clients
  • Create and maintain 3 week look ahead schedule
  • Develop and maintain site logistics plan
  • Conduct quality inspections
  • Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts
  • Monitor costs, including labor time and material
  • Manage schedules, including preparation of detailed short-term schedules and ensuring all activities take place on or ahead of scheduled dates
  • Prepare and submit Superintendent's Daily Reports
  • Attend and participate in project meetings, including subcontractor meetings
  • Will cover the tri-county area with a focus on trying to keep you local to where you live. Miami to West Palm Beach

Profile

  • 5+ of experience as a superintendent leading commercial construction projects
  • Ground Up Construction Experience Preferred
  • Restaurant Construction Experience (REQUIRED)
  • Projects ranging in size from $2M to $10M
  • Procore or similar software
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial construction processes and practices
  • Demonstrated strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel within Tri-County area Miam to West Palm Beach, will keep you as close to home as possible
