This role requires experience working in both occupied healthcare environments and large-scale commercial construction sites. Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple subcontractors and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

  • OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain)

  • Proficiency with Procore, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills

Preferred:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline

  • Experience with large-scale commercial structures, tilt-wall, or industrial projects

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

  • Familiarity with AHCA, ICRA, and healthcare-specific construction requirements

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project management and estimating teams during budgeting, scheduling, and preconstruction phases

  • Develop detailed logistics, phasing, and safety plans tailored to each project

  • Conduct kickoff and coordination meetings with subcontractors and vendors

  • Verify that manpower, materials, and equipment align with project goals

Construction Oversight

  • Lead field operations from mobilization through final completion

  • Manage all aspects of ground-up healthcare and commercial construction, including expansions and interior build-outs

  • Supervise renovation activities in occupied medical environments, ensuring infection control and minimal disruption

  • Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and daily reporting through project management platforms

  • Ensure compliance with project drawings, submittals, and quality standards

Safety & Quality Management

  • Promote a safety-first culture and enforce compliance with OSHA standards

  • Conduct daily jobsite inspections and regular safety meetings

  • Implement and oversee QA/QC programs to ensure craftsmanship and accuracy

  • Maintain clean, organized, and compliant worksites

Leadership & Team Development

  • Supervise and mentor Assistant Superintendents, Foremen, and Field Engineers

  • Lead weekly coordination meetings to align project priorities

  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and results-driven culture across all project teams

Closeout & Handover

  • Deep knowledge of commercial and healthcare construction processes

  • Proven ability to manage both new construction and renovation projects simultaneously

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to problem-solve effectively under pressure

  • Proficient in digital project management tools and construction technology

  • Position involves on-site work in active construction and healthcare environments

  • Exposure to standard construction conditions including varying weather and site activity
