Overview:

Catapult Learning is seeking a Summer School Site Supervisor in Brockton, MA to support the successful daily operation of a summer school program. This part-time leadership role is ideal for an organized, flexible, and proactive education professional who can provide strong on-site support to staff, students, and families throughout the program.

This is a part-time summer position scheduled for Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, for a total of 24 hours per week.

The program runs from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM over a 5-week summer session.

 

The Site Supervisor will oversee daily program operations, support instructional staff and service providers, help ensure schedules run smoothly, and serve as a key point of contact for day-to-day issues that arise. This position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and management skills, along with the ability to step in and provide classroom coverage when needed.

 

Responsibilities:

Be there to identify each child’s unique learning and developmental needs. With your expertise and our proven resources, you’ll ensure that every child receives the educational support and opportunities they need to thrive during their foundational learning years.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily oversight and support for teachers, paraprofessionals, and service providers

  • Manage staff questions, concerns, and day-to-day operational issues as they arise

  • Coordinate and maintain daily schedules for teachers, paraprofessionals, service providers, and students

  • Communicate with parents and caregivers as needed to support student attendance, engagement, and program operations

  • Provide substitute coverage for absent teachers when necessary

  • Partner with program leadership and participate in at least one weekly meeting with supervisor to review progress and discuss needs

  • Help maintain a positive, organized, and supportive learning environment for students and staff

  • Support implementation of program expectations, procedures, and daily logistics

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall program success

Qualifications:
What we’ll need from you: 
  
The positive, enthusiastic School Site Coordinator we seek has these qualifications.   
  • DESE SPED certification required

  • Prior experience in school-based leadership, special education, summer programming, or site coordination preferred

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable supporting staff, students, and families in a collaborative and professional manner

  • Flexible and dependable, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
