The Seasonal Commitment:
Locations:
- Erie: Aspen Ridge Preparatory School (705 Austin Avenue, Erie, CO 80516)
- Louisville: Fireside Elementary (845 W Dahlia St, Louisville, CO 80027)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
- On-Site Training: May 20th – May 22nd, 2026.
- Camp Dates: May 26th – July 24th, 2026. (Note: We strongly prefer candidates who are available for the entire summer schedule).
What You'll Do:
- Lead the Fun: Guide campers through diverse daily rotations—from traditional sports and wild camp games to science projects and talent shows!
- Bring the Energy: Run our high-energy morning orientations and keep the camp buzzing all day long.
- Keep it Safe: Actively supervise your group, enforce safety rules, and serve as a positive role model for campers navigating winning, losing, and teamwork.
What You Need:
- Required Experience: At least 3 months (460 hours) of verifiable, satisfactory experience working with school-age children.
- Required Background Checks: Ability to pass FBI/CBI and TRAILS abuse and neglect background checks.
- Required Pre-Camp Training (Paid): Must complete 15 hours of online PDIS training before on-site training begins on May 18th. All required PDIS training hours will be paid at your hourly rate during your first summer payroll.
- Required Certifications (Unpaid): Must obtain First Aid/CPR certification on your own before the start of camp as a condition of employment.
- Physical Requirements: Endurance to maintain constant supervision of campers, including prolonged standing, bending, walking long distances, and stretching. Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and a willingness to work in an outdoor camp setting with daily exposure to the sun and heat.

Physical Requirements:
- Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards related to camp activities.
- Physical ability to respond appropriately to situations requiring first aid. Must be able to assist campers in an emergency (fire, evacuation, illness, or injury).
- Strength and endurance required to maintain constant supervision of campers, including prolonged standing, some bending, stooping, walking long distances, and stretching.
- Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to manipulate outdoor equipment and camp activities.
- Normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate camper activities and programs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and a willingness to work in an outdoor camp setting with daily exposure to the sun and heat.
