We’re growing our Substitute Teacher pool to support charter schools across Palm Beach County in anticipation of increased assignments this winter and spring!

Responsibilities
- Implement lesson plans provided by classroom teachers.
- Manage classroom behavior and promote a safe, inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Support learning across core subjects, including literacy, math, and science.
- Adapt to different grade levels and student needs, including special education.
- Communicate effectively with school administrators and staff.
- Maintain attendance and assignment notes for each placement.
Qualifications
- Experience teaching or tutoring preferred.
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Dependable, adaptable, and enthusiastic about working with students.
- Open to both short-term and long-term assignments.
