LCRA is looking for a Substation Electrician to join our team! As a part of our maintenance team, you will maintain the critical infrastructure of the Georgetown District, including job sites in Cedar Park, Georgetown, Lakeway and Leander. We're looking for a self-motivated and energetic person to perform electrical work in high voltage substations including maintenance, inspection, repair, testing, adjusting, installation and /or removal of transmission, distribution equipment. You will work with a skilled team and receive valuable training through on-the-job experiences, as well as set training curriculum. You will be trusted to: - Install, maintain, remove, inspect, test, and repair electric motors, generators, electrical circuit breakers, condensers, transformers, switches, communication systems, and electrical and electronic control equipment and wiring. |
You qualify with: - One or more years of experience in maintenance and/or construction of electrical power, transmission, distribution, substation and control equipment, and/or other types of electrical equipment, including experience reading blueprints. |
