Who We Are:

The Spacecraft Development Department is a group of innovative engineers, program managers, and technicians developing unique spacecraft solutions for challenging space missions. We design and fabricate custom solutions to explore the boundaries of science or solve complex problems not yet delivered by industry using a variety of payloads.

Objectives of this Role:
  • Work in multidisciplinary project teams to support the integration and test of cutting edge spacecraft.
  • Collaborate with engineering team on assembly, integration, and test.
  • Support environmental testing of spacecraft.
  • Year-round intern position.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
  • Support spacecraft system assembly, integration, and test activities to include spacecraft function tests and environmental tests.
  • Support documentation of test results.
  • Participate in assigned project team meetings.
  • Learn and be involved in hands-on system assembly.
  • Connecting electrical equipment for tests.
Requirements:
  • Must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Engineering Technology, Electronic Systems Engineering Technology or Electronics Engineering Technology.
  • Shift work required.
  • 0 years: Experience in use of electronic lab equipment in a cleanroom environment preferred.
  • This position requires the use of hand tools. Experience using a variety of tools is expected.
  • Hands on experience through military service and/or project work or internships with integration and test of spacecraft systems or spacecraft hardware is preferred.
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required.
Special Requirements:

Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
