Structural Welder

Renfrow Industrial is seeking dependable and safety-focused Welder (Structural & Pipe)s to support our mechanical crews on industrial and heavy commercial mechanical projects. This mid-level position is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in the industrial mechanical trade.

• $26 – $32 per hour (based on experience and weld test results)

Normal Working Hours

• Monday through Thursday
• Typical 4x10 work schedule
• Overtime as required

Key Responsibilities

• Install, align, and maintain industrial mechanical equipment including pumps, compressors, conveyors, piping, process systems, and other mechanical components
• Transport tools, equipment, and materials to the jobsite
• Perform pipe fitting, layout, equipment setting, and alignment
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness and follow all safety policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights
• Ability to climb, balance, and work on active industrial jobsites
• Operate hand tools safely and maintain focus in changing environments
• Operate forklifts, hoists, and overhead cranes safely (when certified)
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and mechanical systems
• Follow all Renfrow Industrial and OSHA safety requirements
• Pass 6G pipe weld test and/or 2G, 3G, 4G structural plate test
• Perform TIG, Stick, MIG, and Flux Core welding
• Work in industrial and heavy commercial construction environments
• Comply with ASME IX standards and OSHA safety regulations
