You'll collaborate with an array of specialized in-house teams, including water management, civil/site planning, traffic systems, GIS, and surveying.
Responsibilities:
- Direct the department in team building, resource coordination, and technical project execution.
- Oversee the planning and design process for diverse structural projects, encompassing municipal sites, public facilities, and infrastructure renovations.
- Act as the main structural point of contact for clients, ensuring precise communication and outstanding project outcomes.
- Offer guidance, monitor quality, and mentor engineering professionals of varying expertise.
- Work with various internal divisions to provide cohesive, multi-disciplinary solutions.
- Manage project finances, timelines, and team assignments to maximize efficiency and profits.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with government, municipal, and educational entities.
- Stay informed about industry developments, codes, and guidelines for compliance and cutting-edge practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with a master's preferred.
- Must hold a PA Professional Engineer license or obtain it quickly.
- Over eight years in structural design and project oversight.
- Proven success in leading teams and successful project delivery.
- Skilled in designing with steel, concrete, masonry, and timber for varied structures.
- Competent in structural design software such as RISA, RAM, STAAD, Revit, and AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication skills for leading client discussions and proposals.
