Location: New York, NY 10003
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 7.5-hour shifts, 5 days/week (37.5 hrs) | Flexible, weekends & holidays required

Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced SPD Technician II to perform decontamination, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments while ensuring compliance with infection control and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments
• Assemble and inspect instrument trays (general & specialty)
• Operate sterilization equipment & perform quality checks
• Manage instrument tracking systems and documentation
• Prepare and deliver surgical case carts per OR schedules
• Maintain OSHA and infection control standards
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and distribution

Requirements

• CRCST Certification (Required)
• 2+ years of sterile processing experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of sterilization, instrumentation, and infection control
• Ability to operate equipment and handle physical tasks

Preferred

• Experience with tracking systems (e.g., Horizon)
• MS Office skills
