Steel Yard Worker

Location: Lancaster, PA

Shift: 6:00am - 5:00pm Monday -Friday.

Pay: $19-$22/hr.

Description:

• Cannonball Recruiting  is currently seeking to fill a Yard Jockey position for a Steel Fabrication company in Lancaster, PA. This position requires a driver’s license and forklift experience.  Candidates must be willing to learn and follow directions. Candidate must also be willing to following OSHA requirements.

Requirements:

• Construction and forklift experience preferred (experience with structural steel is ideal)
• Strong personal character and integrity
• Dependable and self-motivated
• Willing to ask questions and learn
• Team-oriented with good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to solve problems and complete tasks independently
• Commitment to confidentiality and safety standards

Job Duties:

• Loading/unloading trailers of streel using a forklift safely and efficiently
• Manage shipping, receiving, and related documentation
• Keep yard clean and neat
• Help with loading of jobs to be delivered
• Pushing paint carts into the paint booth,
• Keeping the yard clean and organized
• Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions
