Job Details

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Steel Fabrication Project Manager to join our growing team. This is a permanent position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to our exciting and innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, project management, contract management, budgeting, team leadership, time management, and decision-making, preferably within Steel Fabrication. With over 5 years of experience in the field, the candidate will have a proven track record of successfully overseeing all aspects of a project, from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:
As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management, including initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure.
2. Leading project planning sessions and managing project resources.
3. Coordinating staff and internal resources, ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
4. Assessing project risks and issues and providing solutions where applicable.
5. Ensuring project deadlines are met and determining project changes.
6. Providing regular project updates to stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
7. Managing large and diverse teams, fostering a collaborative environment to ensure smooth execution of projects.
8. Developing and managing detailed project budgets and controlling expenditures.
9. Implementing and managing change when necessary to meet project outputs.
10. Evaluating and assessing the results of the project.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Construction Project Manager role should possess the following qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of five years of proven experience in project management in the construction industry, preferably in Steel Fabrication.
3. In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.
4. Demonstrated ability in contract management, budgeting, and decision-making.
5. Excellent knowledge of relevant rules, regulations, quality standards and safety codes.
6. Experience with construction management software.
7. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
8. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
9. Strong client-facing and internal communication skills.
10. Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
11. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
