Our client, an industry leader in building operations and maintenance, is seeking a dedicated Stationary Operating Engineer to join their team. As a Stationary Operating Engineer, you will be an integral part of the facilities management team supporting critical infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and efficiency, which will align successfully in the organization.

- Pay rate: $38-39/per hour
What's the Job?
- Operate and maintain high-pressure steam boilers, hot water systems, centrifugal chillers, and a cogeneration plant with turbines.
- Monitor and troubleshoot building automation systems to ensure optimal performance of heating, cooling, and electrical systems.
- Conduct water testing, treatment, and chemical management for boilers and chilled water systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Respond promptly to alarms and system issues, providing immediate corrective actions to maintain operational integrity.
- Document all activities accurately, including rounds, readings, and incident reports, maintaining detailed logs for compliance and review.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum Massachusetts 3rd class stationary engineer’s license.
- At least 2 years of experience operating 2nd class steam plants.
- Ability to work any shift as required, including overnight hours.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, schematics, and safety protocols.
