Tesseraisseekinga skilled and safety-minded Stationary Engineer tooperate, maintain, and ensure the efficient performance of a wide range of Operations equipment, including pumps, compressors, generators, turbines, boilers, and related systems that provide essential services such as heat, air-conditioning, steam, and electricity.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Responsible for installation, repairs and troubleshooting steam or high-temperature water systems malfunctions.
Coordinate preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
Utilize wire diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and drawings to guide repairs and maintenance.
Responsible for directing and guidinginstallsand programing of thermostats.
Communicates and interacts directly with the customer, informing the customer of unexpected oradditionalrepairs anddeterminingcustomer needs.
Responds to customer inquiries and complaints.
Make difficult diagnoses and suggest solutions and repairs tocustomer.
Ensurescompleted work meets quality control standards.
Assistswith orienting and training new employees andassistsinwork assignments.
Qualifications:
Highschool Diploma/GED isrequired.
Minimum 3 years of Stationary Engineer experience.
Ability to work in a variety of different environments, including inclement weather and high man lifts.
Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints.
Good manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, physical fitness, and a good sense of balance.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability toperformthe following physical demands for extended periods of time with or withoutassistance. The physical demands of this position may bereasonably accommodatedfor individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to70pounds.
May berequiredto reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also berequired.
Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

A valid state driver's license isrequiredwith the ability to obtain andmaintaincoverage byTessera'sinsurance.
