Stationary Engineer

As a key player in our industrial operations, you will oversee and maintain critical infrastructure, including boilers, air compressors, and cooling towers, ensuring they operate in line with safety and state guidelines. You will partner with leadership to uphold stringent safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Your role will include acting as the primary or backup licensed Grade 1 Systems Operator. You will be responsible for ongoing professional development to keep your credentials up-to-date.

Your mechanical expertise will shine as you engage in advanced pipe-fitting tasks, skillfully using various pipe materials and threading equipment. You will apply your welding skills across a range of materials and applications, including brazing and soldering to meet operational needs.

With your knowledge of thermal expansion, you'll efficiently operate lathe and milling machines, and conduct precise measurements with calipers and micrometers. You'll rebuild vital equipment such as gear boxes and pumps and manage spare parts.

You will handle a variety of heavy machinery, employ advanced rigging techniques, and ensure safe setup and operation of industrial equipment. Your solid grasp of electrical power systems will guide you in maintaining safety and functionality.

Qualified candidates should hold a Grade 1 Systems Operator license. Prior experience as a multi-skilled mechanic in a similar environment is essential, coupled with 5-8 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
