QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have Chicago Stationary Engineering License
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial maintenance.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining boilers and HVAC/R systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Familiarity with hydraulics and their applications in industrial settings.
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with team members and other departments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- A proactive approach to safety, ensuring a secure working environment for all personnel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and maintain boilers, HVAC systems, and associated equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues as they arise, utilizing schematics and technical manuals.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests for assistance from other departments.
