$100 - 120,000 + bonus

We’re partnering with a large, well-established organization to identify an experienced State Tax Manager to lead multi-state income tax compliance and planning efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the state tax function and partnering closely with leadership in a complex, growing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage state income tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions

• Prepare, review, and file state tax returns and extensions

• Oversee state estimated tax payments and apportionment calculations

• Research and interpret state tax laws and regulatory changes

• Lead state tax audits, notices, and controversy matters

• Support income tax provision related to state taxes

• Collaborate with internal accounting, legal, and external advisors

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Strong experience with state income tax in a multi-state environment

• Public accounting and/or large corporate tax background preferred

• Ability to research, analyze, and clearly communicate complex tax matters

• CPA or MST strongly preferred
