Job Summary
The Staff Right of Way (ROW) Specialist supports infrastructure projects by analyzing and interpreting land, easement, and right-of-way documentation. This role works closely with project teams to ensure accurate data translation, compliance with permitting requirements, and effective stakeholder coordination across multiple concurrent projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze, prepare, review, and interpret Right of Way agreements, deeds, easements, leases, permits, and licenses
  • Complete rights and restriction reviews and required permitting activities
  • Research and review real-property–related documentation
  • Interpret and validate easement agreements
  • Translate ROW data into the stakeholder management database
  • Perform quality assurance reviews of database entries completed by field agents
  • Compile technical data and reports for ROW project teams
  • Support project managers, design engineers, environmental consultants, GIS specialists, vegetation management teams, and real estate coordinators
  • Participate in public open houses as requested
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while working independently or collaboratively

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and task-tracking software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong client service focus
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements

Education & Experience
One of the following is required (Level 10):
  • High School Diploma + 8 years of relevant ROW, real estate, or project experience
  • Associate’s Degree + 6 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business Administration or related field) + 4 years of relevant experience
Preferred:
  • Right of Way acquisition, relocation, or eminent domain experience
  • Project management or real estate background
  • Experience with electric utilities or railroad projects
  • Familiarity with Google Earth and construction drawings
  • IRWA designation
