We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team. This role is responsible for supporting general ledger activities with a strong focus on bank reconciliations, transaction accuracy, and financial reporting integrity. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and is comfortable working across multiple entities and systems.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough understanding of business operations, financial systems, and general ledger structure

  • Record bank fees and third-party fees accurately in the general ledger

  • Reconcile multiple bank accounts across various entities and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and the GL in a timely manner

  • Investigate and resolve outstanding bank transactions in collaboration with internal teams to ensure accurate financial statement reporting

  • Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy

  • Cross-train with other Corporate Accounting team members to support departmental objectives

  • Conduct and support ad hoc finance and accounting projects and assignments as needed
Required Skills & Abilities

  • Experience reconciling multiple bank accounts simultaneously

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work both independently and collaboratively

  • Comfortable working in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience preferred
Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university

  • 1–3 years of experience in a general ledger-focused accounting role

  • Experience working with multi-entity structures preferred

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across various branches and departments

  • NetSuite experience preferred
