What You'll Do
In this role, you'll support core accounting and financial reporting functions while gaining exposure to a wide range of processes across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing a strong working knowledge of company accounting systems and processes
Preparing and maintaining accounting process documentation, while identifying opportunities for improvement
Assisting with overhead budgets and budget-to-actual analysis
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing workpapers, financial statements, and related schedules/filings
Supporting accounting operations related to cash, accounts receivable, job costing, and accounts payable
Preparing special reports and assisting with ad-hoc projects as needed
Performing additional assignments as directed by the Tax Director and Controllers
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
CPA preferred (or actively pursuing)
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local financial reporting requirements, including pension and profit-sharing plans
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment
